They are located in 9 Croatian counties, in 14 cities and 16 other places, mostly in Vrsi (150), Zadar (65), Rijeka (50), Ninski Stanovi (20), and in Slivnica in Zadar area (15).

At least five families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to: Switzerland (2), Australia (1), the United States (1), and to Germany (1). Family name Predovan is present in 6 countries on four continents. The family name "Predovan " is used by small number of people in the United States and small number in Saudi Arabia.
