Surname Prce in modern Croatia

Prce families are Croats and they are mostly from middle Bosnia. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Herzegovina (Capljina area) and in Middle Bosnia (Breza area). In Prhinje in Middle Bosnia nearly every inhabitant had the family name Prce.

About 250 people with faimily name Prce live in Croatia today, in 100 households. There were 20 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied.
They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 18 cities and 30 other places, mostly in Dubrovnik (45), Zagreb (35), Metkovic (30), Cibaca in Dubrovnik area (20), and in Vukovar (20).
