Prevalence
About 60 people with faimily name Polojac live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 120 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are located and 7 other Croatian places, mostly in Karlovac (15), Zagreb (15), Podgorje in Glina area (10), Bukovica Utinjska in Duga Resa area (<10), and in Kutina (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1932 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
