Pjanić families are mainly Croats and they are mostly from Cazinska Krajina Region (Bosnia), also Bosniaks (also from Cazinska Krajina Region , Bosnia), very rarely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Cazins Region, Bosnia (Cazin area) and in Middle Bosnia (Travnik area). In Pjanići in Cazins Region (Bosnia) every fourth inhabitant had the family name Pjanić.
Prevalence
About 90 people with faimily name Pjanić live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 24 cities and 14 other places, mostly in Zagreb (15), Split (15), Beli Manastir (<10), Osijek (<10), and in Lovinac in Obrovac area (<10).
