In Croatia, Pirih families are Croats (from Zagreb ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb.
Prevalence
Only a few people with faimily name Pirih live in Croatia today, in two households only. There were 20 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased significantly. They are located in three Croatian cities only: in Zagreb (<5), Split (<5), and in Cres on the Island of Cres (<5).
