They are located in all Croatian counties, in 61 cities and 145 other places, mostly in Zagreb (255), Rijeka (55), Koprivnica (40), Sesvete (35), and in Djurdjevac (30).

Family name Pintar is present in 26 countries worldwide. The family name "Pintar " is used by some 900 people in the United States , about 600 in Indonesia , and some 300 people in Germany.
