Perković families are Croats and they are mostly from Senj area. According to some sources they are from Bosnia, or from Drnis area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Senj area and in Western Bosnia (Livno area). In places Mijakovo Polje and Potok in Western Bosnia every second inhabitant had the family name Perković.
