Pelicarić families are Croats and they are mostly from Biograd na Moru. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zadar and Biograd na moru. U Gradu Biogradu na moru every seventieth inhabitant had the family name Pelicarić.
Prevalence
About 100 people with faimily name Pelicarić live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 110 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 10 percent. They are only located in in 10 Croatian cities and 7 other places, mostly in Biograd na moru (40), Split (20), Zagreb (15), Zadar (10), and in Sveti Filip i Jakov in Biograd na moru area (10).

Family name Pelicarić is present in five countries on three continents. The family name "Pelicaric " is used by some 200 people in Argentina , small number in the United States , and small number of people in Canada.
