In Croatia, Pece families are generally Croats (from Zadar ), very rarely Hungarians (from Pula ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zadar and on the Island of Ugljan.
Prevalence
About 10 people with faimily name Pece live in Croatia today, in 8 households. There were 20 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are located in three Croatian cities only: in Rijeka (<10), Zadar (<10), and in Pula (<5).
