In Croatia, Paš families are predominantly Croats (from Pregrada area ), rarely Slovenes (also from Pregrada area ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Pregrada area and in Slovenia.
Prevalence
About 10 people with faimily name Paš live in Croatia today, in four households only. There were 20 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are located in only two Croatian places: in Hum na Sutli (10) and Klenovec Humski (<10) in Pregrada area.
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over five times, the first time 1938 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
