Paskaš families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from Obrovac area , whereas often Croats. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Obrovac area and in Ogulin.
Prevalence
About 70 people with faimily name Paskaš live in Croatia today, in 40 households. There were 110 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 40 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 10 cities and 15 other places, mostly in Oraovac in Obrovac area (15), Zagreb (10), Rijeka (<10), Mali Losinj on the Island of Losinj (<5), and in Pula (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1923 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
