Paska families are Croats and they are mostly from Lepoglava area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Lepoglava area and in Varazdin.
Prevalence
About 210 people with faimily name Paska live in Croatia today, in 80 households. There were 130 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 60 percent. They are located in 10 Croatian counties, in 14 cities and 37 other places, mostly in Varazdin (20), Breznica Nasicka in Nasice area (15), Prebukovje in Lepoglava area (15), Koska in Nasice area (10), and in Visnjevac (<10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1906 in source Yearbook and Directory of Literary Society of St. Jerome 1906.
