Pancer families are Croats and they are mostly from Slatina area. According to some sources they are from Medjimurje (Sveta Marija na Muri), or from Austria. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Slatina area and in Zagreb. In Mali Rastovac in Slatina area every tenth inhabitant had the family name Pancer.
