Prevalence
Only a few people with faimily name Pala live in Croatia today, in three households only. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased significantly. They are located in four Croatian counties, four cities and another small place , mostly in Nova Gradiska (<5), Rijeka (<5), Medulin in Pula area (<5), Zagreb (<5), and in Pula (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over five times, the first time 1928 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
