In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Backa, Vojvodina and in Vinkovci area. In Bosanski Aleksandrovac in Banja Luka Region (Bosnia) every second inhabitant had the family name Olah.
Prevalence
About 70 people with faimily name Olah live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 90 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 13 cities and 13 other places, mostly in Zagreb (<10), Split (<10), Sisak (<10), Nijemci in Vinkovci area (<10), and in Topolje in Beli Manastir area (<10).
