Mudri families are predominantly Croats and they are mostly from Ivanec , less frequently Rusyns (from Iloka area) and Russians. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Ivanec and Varazdin. In places Prigorec and Ivanečka Željeznica in Ivanec every fifth inhabitant had the family name Mudri.
Prevalence
About 580 people with faimily name Mudri live in Croatia today, in 240 households. There were 480 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 20 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 25 cities and 54 other places, mostly in Prigorec (100), Miklusevci in Ilok area (45), Petrovci in Vukovar area (45), Vukovar (40), and in Zagreb (35).
