Milovan families are mainly Croats and they are mostly from Labin area , rarely Italians. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Pula and in Labin area. In places Čabrunići and Režanci in Labin area every fifth inhabitant had the family name Milovan.
Prevalence
About 190 people with faimily name Milovan live in Croatia today, in 80 households. There were 210 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 10 percent. They are only located in in 8 Croatian cities and 9 other places, mostly in Pula (75), in Cabrunici (40) and Rezanci (25) in Labin area, Vodnjan in Pula area (15), and in Zagreb (<10).
