Mikulin families are Croats and they are mostly from Velika Gorica. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and Velika Gorica. In places Mala Buna and Vukovina in Velika Gorica every sixth inhabitant had the family name Mikulin.
Prevalence
About 190 people with faimily name Mikulin live in Croatia today, in 60 households. There were 270 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 30 percent. They are located in 9 Croatian counties, in 8 cities and 18 other places, mostly in Velika Gorica (40), Vukovina (25), Zagreb (15), Kravarsko in Velika Gorica area (15), and in Mala Buna (10).
