Majdančić families are Croats and they are mostly from east Herzegovina. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in East Herzegovina (Trebinje area) and in Djakovo.
Prevalence
About 70 people with faimily name Majdančić live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 12 cities and four other places, mostly in Selci Djakovacki (30), Petrinja (10), Zagreb (10), Djakovo (<10), and in Slavonski Brod (<10).
Outside Croatia
Family name Majdančić is present in 9 countries on four continents. The family name "Majdancic " is used by some 100 people in Afghanistan , small number in the United States , and small number of people in Germany.
