Prevalence
About 840 people with faimily name Lovrenčić live in Croatia today, in 370 households. There were 890 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 10 percent. They are located in almost all Croatian counties, in 47 cities and 115 other places, mostly in Zagreb (160), Cakovec (45), in Sveti Kriz Zacretje (35) and Donja Pacetina (30) in Zabok area, and in Varazdin (25).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over thirty times, the first time 1678 in source Catholic Church Parish Records.
