Prevalence
About 300 people with faimily name Listeš live in Croatia today, in 130 households. There were 220 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 40 percent. They are located in 9 Croatian counties, in 15 cities and 14 other places, mostly in Split (110), Klis in Solin area (45), Zagreb (20), Kastel Stari (20), and in Solin (20).

Family name Listeš (including: Listes , Lisztes ) is present in 13 countries on three continents. The family name "Listes " is used by some 300 people in Romania , small number in the United States , and small number of people in Canada.
