In Croatia, Laka families are generally Serbs, rarely Croats (from Zadar ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Knin and in Knin area.
Prevalence
About 20 people with faimily name Laka live in Croatia today, in 12 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are located in only four naselja i to in Biskupija in Knin area (20), Zagreb (<10), Zadar (<5), and in Kosa (<5).
