Kutić families are mainly Croats and they are mostly from Labin area , often Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Pula and in Middle Bosnia (Skender Vakuf area). In Rađići in Middle Bosnia every fourth inhabitant had the family name Kutić.
Prevalence
About 100 people with faimily name Kutić live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 60 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 60 percent. They are located in 9 Croatian counties, in 10 cities and 11 other places, mostly in Bibici in Labin area (15), Vodnjan in Pula area (15), Pula (15), Zagreb (10), and in Sisak (<10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1906 in source Yearbook and Directory of Literary Society of St. Jerome 1906.
