About 90 people with faimily name Kurtek live in Croatia today, in 40 households. There were 110 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 20 percent. They are located in 6 Croatian counties, in 10 cities and 11 other places, mostly in Trnovec in Varazdin area (10), Breznica Nasicka in Nasice area (10), Djakovo (<10), Nasice (<10), and in Visnjevac (<10).
