In Croatia, Kuko families are Croats (from Split ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Sinj area and in Split. In Donji Muć in Sinj area every fiftieth inhabitant had the family name Kuko.
Prevalence
About 20 people with faimily name Kuko live in Croatia today, in 9 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number doubled. They are located in only five naselja i to in Split (20), Zrnovnica (<10), Zagreb (<5), Solin (<5), and in Mastrinka (<5).
