Krišković families are Croats and they are mostly from Novi Vinodolski. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Rijeka and Novi Vinodolski. In Mundanije on the Island of Rab every twentieth inhabitant had the family name Krišković.
Prevalence
About 190 people with faimily name Krišković live in Croatia today, in 80 households. There were 240 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 20 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 22 cities and 13 other places, mostly in Novi Vinodolski (45), Belisce (25), Zagreb (25), Palit on the Island of Rab (25), and in Rijeka (20).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over thirty times, the first time 1906 in source Yearbook and Directory of Literary Society of St. Jerome 1906.
