In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Djakovo and Osijek. In Bokšić Lug in Nasice area every fiftieth inhabitant had the family name Krha.
Prevalence
About 60 people with faimily name Krha live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 60 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in 6 Croatian counties, in 6 cities and 11 other places, mostly in Osijek (<10), Djurdjenovac in Nasice area (<10), Djakovo (<10), Novi Vinodolski (<10), and in Sljivosevci in Donji Miholjac area (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1902 in source Hartmann's General List of Apartments in Zagreb.
