Krezić families are usually Croats and they are mostly from middle Bosnia , rarely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Middle Bosnia (Zenica area) and in Herzegovina (Mostar area). In Prigrađani in Herzegovina every second inhabitant had the family name Krezić.
Prevalence
About 210 people with faimily name Krezić live in Croatia today, in 100 households. There were 20 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 26 cities and 30 other places, mostly in Zagreb (40), Split (20), Buje (15), Semeljci in Djakovo area (15), and in Sesvete (10).
Outside Croatia
Family name Krezić is present in 14 countries on four continents. The family name "Krezic " is used by some 100 people in Germany , about 90 in Sweden , and small number of people in the United States.
