In Croatia, Korodi families are generally Hungarians (from Banat, Vojvodina ), rarely Croats (from Pula ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Banat, Vojvodina and in Pula.
Prevalence
About 10 people with faimily name Korodi live in Croatia today, in five households only. They are located in only four naselja i to in Pula (<10), Jagodnjak in Beli Manastir area (<10), Osijek (<5), and in Karanac in Beli Manastir area (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1938 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
