They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 18 cities and 19 other places, mostly in Zagreb (95), Hum na Sutli in Pregrada area (20), Zoljan (10), Djurdjenovac in Nasice area (10), and in Samatovci in Valpovo area (10).
Outside Croatia
At least three families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to the United States. Family name Korbar is present in 10 countries on three continents. The family name "Korbar " is used by some 200 people in the United States , about 80 in Czech Republic , and small number of people in Germany.
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1902 in source Hartmann's General List of Apartments in Zagreb.
