About 40 people with faimily name Komlenović live in Croatia today, in 15 households. There were 70 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 40 percent. They are located in 6 Croatian counties, in 7 cities and threee other places, mostly in Kutina (10), Split (<10), Stupovaca (<10), Vukovije in Daruvar area (<10), and in Pakrac (<5).

Family name Komlenović is present in 7 countries on three continents. The family name "Komlenovic " is used by small number of people in Germany and small number in the United States.
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1928 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
