In Croatia, Klinc families are almost entirely Croats (from Bosnian Krajina ), very rarely Slovenes (also from Bosnian Krajina ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Bosnian Krajina (Prnjavor area) and in Zagreb. In Ralutinac in Bosnian Krajina every third inhabitant had the family name Klinc.
Prevalence
About 30 people with faimily name Klinc live in Croatia today, in 13 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 40 percent. They are located in 6 Croatian counties, in 6 cities and threee other places, mostly in Zagreb (10), Slavonski Brod (<10), Bukovlje in Slavonski Brod area (<5), Dugo Selo (<5), and in Vranovci in Slavonski Brod area (<5).
