About 110 people with faimily name Klepač live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 120 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 10 percent. They are located in 9 Croatian counties, in 11 cities and 17 other places, mostly in Varazdin (30), Zagreb (15), Cacinci in Orahovica area (15), Orahovica (<10), and in Pausinci in Orahovica area (<10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over thirty times, the first time 1906 in source Yearbook and Directory of Literary Society of St. Jerome 1906.
