Kišić families are Croats and they are mostly from Varazdin area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Varazdin and in Varazdin area. In Strmec Podravski in Varazdin area every tenth inhabitant had the family name Kišić.

About 310 people with faimily name Kišić live in Croatia today, in 130 households. There were 310 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 22 cities and 32 other places, mostly in Petrijanec in Varazdin area (40), Zagreb (30), Varazdin (30), Karlovac (25), and in Bartolovec in Varazdin area (15).
