Kevrić families are almost entirely Croats and they are mostly from Zadar area , rarely Bosniaks (iz Tuzla Region, Bosnia). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zadar area and in Zadar. In Visočane in Zadar area every third inhabitant had the family name Kevrić.
Prevalence
About 310 people with faimily name Kevrić live in Croatia today, in 110 households. There were 210 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 50 percent. They are located in 10 Croatian counties, in 16 cities and 21 other places, mostly in Visocane in Zadar area (110), Zadar (75), Rijeka (25), Zagreb (15), and in Vodnjan in Pula area (<10).
