About 10 people with faimily name Kempf live in Croatia today, in 7 households. There were 30 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased significantly. They are located in four Croatian counties and another small place , mostly in Slavonski Brod (<5), Seliste (<5), Zagreb (<5), Sisak (<5), and in Pozega (<5).
