Keleković families are Croats and they are mostly from Novi Marof area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and in Novi Marof area. In Novi Glog in Krizevci area every eighth inhabitant had the family name Keleković.
Prevalence
About 210 people with faimily name Keleković live in Croatia today, in 80 households. There were 200 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 16 cities and 19 other places, mostly in Zagreb (45), Nova Kapela in Vrbovec area (20), Gornja Rijeka in Novi Marof area (15), Fuka in Vrbovec area (15), and in Krizevci (15).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over five times, the first time 1906 in source Yearbook and Directory of Literary Society of St. Jerome 1906.
