In Croatia, Keder families are Croats (from Lepoglava ), barely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Lepoglava and in Lepoglava area. In Vulišinec in Lepoglava every eighth inhabitant had the family name Keder.
Prevalence
About 60 people with faimily name Keder live in Croatia today, in 19 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 40 percent. They are located in four Croatian counties, four cities and 5 other places, mostly in Vulisinec (20), Viletinec (20), Rinkovec in Lepoglava area (<10), Zagreb (<5), and in Lepoglava (<5).
