In Croatia, Kaucki families are predominantly Croats (from Daruvar area ), rarely Czechs (from Daruvar area ), and very rarely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Pakrac and Daruvar.
Prevalence
About 40 people with faimily name Kaucki live in Croatia today, in 15 households. There were 30 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 20 percent. They are located in four Croatian counties, four cities and 7 other places, mostly in Zagreb (15), Daruvar (<10), Medjuric (<5), Ivanovo Polje in Daruvar area (<5), and in Osijek (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1923 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
