Jevtić families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from Bosnian Krajina , whereas often Croats (from Rijeka ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Rijeka and in Cazins Region, Bosnia (Sanski Most area).
Prevalence
About 160 people with faimily name Jevtić live in Croatia today, in 80 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 27 cities and 30 other places, mostly in Zagreb (25), Rijeka (25), Slavonski Brod (<10), Split (<10), and in Ostrovo in Vinkovci area (<10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 2007 in source Encyclopaedia of Croatian Surnames.
