Prevalence
About 40 people with faimily name Jembri live in Croatia today, in 15 households. There were 20 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number doubled. They are located in threee Croatian counties, threee cities and 5 other places, mostly in Vrbovec (15), Kabal in Cazma area (15), Bjelovar (<5), and in Dubrava (<5) and Gradec (<5) in Vrbovec area.
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over five times, the first time 2007 in source Encyclopaedia of Croatian Surnames.
