Prevalence
About 20 people with faimily name Ićitović live in Croatia today, in 14 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number doubled. They are only located in two Croatian cities and 7 other places, mostly in Zagreb (<10), in Knezovljani (<10), Umetic (<5) and Mecencani (<5) in Hrvatska Kostajnica area, and in Zapresic (<5).
Outside Croatia
At least three families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to Germany (2) and the United States (1). Family name Ićitović is present in three countries on two continents. The family name "Icitovic " is used by small number of people in the United States.
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1902 in source Hartmann's General List of Apartments in Zagreb.
