. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Rijeka and in Banja Luka Region, Bosnia (Laktasi area). In Donji Kazanci in Western Bosnia every second inhabitant had the family name Injac.
Prevalence
About 60 people with faimily name Injac live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 20 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number tripled. They are located in 9 Croatian counties, in 13 cities and 6 other places, mostly in Rijeka (15), Pula (<10), Split (<10), Uzdolje in Knin area (<10), and in Samobor (<5).
