In Croatia, Hart families are Croats (from Pozega ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Middle Bosnia (Sarajevo area) and in Pozega.
Prevalence
About 10 people with faimily name Hart live in Croatia today, in four households only. There were 20 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are only located in four Croatian cities and another small place , mostly in Pozega (<10), Zagreb (<5), Slavonski Brod (<5), Zapresic (<5), and in Baska Voda in Makarska area (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1933 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
