In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Djakovo and in Djakovo area. In Potnjani in Djakovo area every thirtieth inhabitant had the family name Hanuljak.
Prevalence
About 40 people with faimily name Hanuljak live in Croatia today, in 15 households. There were 30 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 60 percent. They are located in two Croatian counties, two cities and four other places, mostly in Bracevci (25), Divosevci (10) and Potnjani (<10) in Djakovo area, Djakovo (<10), and in Slavonski Brod (<5).
