Grudić families are mainly Croats and they are mostly from Varazdin area , also Serbs, very rarely Bosniaks (from Pula ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Duga Resa area and in Pula. In Rajić Brdo in Duga Resa area every second inhabitant had the family name Grudić.
Prevalence
About 220 people with faimily name Grudić live in Croatia today, in 100 households. There were 210 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 17 cities and 30 other places, mostly in Zagreb (25), Karlovac (20), Mirkovci (15), Visnjan in Porec area (15), and in Nedelisce in Cakovec area (15).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1929 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
