Grubješić families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from Duga Resa area , whereas often Croats (from Bjelovar ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Bjelovar and Karlovac.
Prevalence
About 160 people with faimily name Grubješić live in Croatia today, in 90 households. There were 330 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 16 cities and 22 other places, mostly in Karlovac (25), Zagreb (20), Luscani (10), Sisak (<10), and in Rijeka (<10).

Family name Grubješić is present in two countries on two continents. The family name "Grubjesic " is used by small number of people in the United States.
