About 10 people with faimily name Grobin live in Croatia today, in 6 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are only located in four Croatian cities and threee other places, mostly in Semovci in Djurdjevac area (<10), Labin (<5), Osijek (<5), Drnje in Koprivnica area (<5), and in Bjelovar (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1933 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
