Grce families are Croats and they are mostly from the Island of Rab. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born on the Island of Rab and in Rijeka.
Prevalence
About 90 people with faimily name Grce live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 70 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 20 percent. They are located in 8 Croatian counties, in 12 cities and threee other places, mostly in Barbat na Rabu on the Island of Rab (40), Rijeka (15), Banjol on the Island of Rab (15), Zagreb (<5), and in Trogir (<5).
