Goldin families are Croats and they are mostly from Pula area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and Pula. In Muntić in Pula area every sixth inhabitant had the family name Goldin.

Prevalence

About 70 people with faimily name Goldin live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 60 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 20 percent.
They are only located in four Croatian cities and threee other places, mostly in Muntic in Pula area (35), Zagreb (30), Pula (<10), Podravske Sesvete in Djurdjevac area (<5), and in Zapresic (<5).

At least six families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to Germany (4) and the United States (2).
